I have a Motorola DVR / digital cable box today from my cable provider (Comcast) When I tried synchronize my TV remote control that comes with the cable box (for the remote can control both the TV and the box) I could not find listed as a brand element TV. The item is brand Circuit City TV. Does anyone know if other trademarks mentioned may be consistent with the? Thank you.

HDTV, Satellite, Surround. What should I do everything up to the HDMI port?
I bought a 52 "HDTV (HP IDB5220N) with HDMI input (I prefer), and also has RCA inputs and component inputs. The manual says HDMI and component is the highest picture quality, I am not able to use. My satellite receiver is an older Samsung SIR-S300W, no HDMI jacks, RCA inputs only. My DVD / surround sound system is a Sony AVD-K800P, Component inputs and inputs RCA. I want to be able to use my HDMI port for best picture, but how can I connect my satellite no HDMI and surround sound system to the TV? I know that I need an HDMI cable, but what kind should I use for RCA or component inputs? The image is fine now, but only satellite to circle running through RCA connectors then surround the television via RCA connectors. He also tried SVideo directly to TV via satellite and does not improve much. Any electronic geniuses here with any suggestions on this?

driving accross country in a volvo turbo 1994 wagon,want to make up a tool kit any suggestions?

I need to replace the flat extender on the coax cable from my sat dish thru my door. Where can I find one?
I have a DirecTV dual tuner receiver. Only one turner has been working for the last couple of weeks. I’m relatively sure that the problem is in the little piece that connects the outside cables and the inside cables. It’s flat, white, and goes between the door and the door frame. I would like to find a replacement piece rather than call them to investigate/fix at a steep expense. What is it called and where may I find one?
Or could my problem be something different?
