Afraid so, mate. You need something like this: Turns http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=226&DOY=12m9 230vAC to 6V DC up to 500mA. If the device needs more power than that, you need to get a more expensive atapter. Probably will plug into a standard outlet United Kingdom, so if you need to be connected to a continental Schuko plug style, you will need to maintain that network adapter you have listed in your question.
