Kodak zi6 pocket video camera and windows movie maker help ?

I wonder if you could help me with the kodak zi6 pocket video camera. I get problems when trying to edit the footage on the kodak media impression software. During playback, the people’s mouths do not move in time with the film and I am currently trying to upload videos onto windows movie maker but it doesn’t seem to want to. The footage is saved as a MOV file, so is there any way the film can be converted to an MPG file? I don’t understand why windows movie maker doesn’t accept the videos from kodak zi6 and I was wondering if perhaps you do ? or could help me out all?
