Does anyone know the basics of motorised dish installation? I have a satellite meter made by horizon.?
The dish is on the wall and the cable is run. Its a diseqc motor and my meter has several pre installed satellites in it. Can anyone tell me the best way to install it to perfection?
I’ve installed my own Motorized FTA Dish.
I’m not familiar with the Horizon brand meter , but I can give you some basic info for success.
With your motor on the 0 position point the dish toward your True south satellite if you are in the Northern Hemisphere.
Make sure that where your dish is mounted that the pole or mast is plumb ( level ) ,it’s very important for perfect tracking.
You will of course need the correct angle for your motor which will vary depending on your location.
