how can i connect my DIGITAL SATELLITE RECIEVER to mu PC using RS 232C cable?
I have no idea about it.I am doing this for first time.Please help me out .

The RS232 port on satellite receivers etc is for technicials to use for diagnostices NOT to transfer the images to a PC
RD232 is WAY WAY WAY too slow to send video
U need to use a video output and also install avideo input solution in the PC, to use it.
Cheaper and simpler to have a cheap 2nd TV
