I want an FTA box that you don’t have to keep reprograming. I know Sonicview is new, but is it worry free? Are there any Viewsat or Coolsat boxes that are reprogram free?
If you are going to use it to pirate pay TV service, you need to keep reprogramming it no matter what receiver you choose, as the pay provider and hackers play their cat and mouse game with the security used to protect the provider’s services.
If you don’t want to have to keep reprogramming it, you have the option of going legit FTA, which means a bigger dish and a different viewing experience, or pay for your TV from the pay provider, using their receiver.
