What to serve at a Party March Madness?

I am planning a party to watch the final four in the NCAA tournament. I came with some fun ideas So far: Places, temporary tattoos with little past four team logos, media, beer, snacks and, of course, a 42 "HDTV. I some problems to come up with a main course though. I have a tray of vegetables and a recipe for a big bath, but I want something a little more substantial, and even easy eating. Any ideas? Thanks!

Sliders are very popular now (hamburgers little dinner rolls) … or a baked potato bar with choices of ingredients (may be served in Styrofoam cups) or even pots of chili, green salad and corn bread trays. A fruit platter would be good too …. and decorate big sugar cookies with orange sugar on top and chocolate basketball pipe stitching in them

3-way satellite diplexer?

I just bought the R-15 Directv, I already have 2 receptors than addind am now a 3rd. I have a dual LNB. So my question is, have I seen a diplexer 3 way on eBay. With this you can split an LNB to 3 and have been veiwing separately on the recipients? DVR = 2 other receiver = 1 from total of 3 1 LNB. The other LNB is being used for upstairs and I'm not trying to run a lot more than wire, is this possible or does not work for me? Ok i found this, will it work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item = 320,077,857,888 & ssPageName = STRK: MEWA: IT & ih = 011

If you have a dual LNB on the basic 18-inch dish does not require a diplexer, you need what is called multi-switch.In his case, a 3×4 Multi-Switch, is called well, because it has 2 inputs of your plate which converts to 4 outputs and also has an input for antenna 3 or diplexer cable.A is to combine or separate the signals from antenna or cable with the satellite in a single line, for example, if you used the Multi-Switch and connected the 2 lines of your plate and a line of the TV antenna outside you should have a diplexer on the back of each receiver to separate signals SAT and ants to adequate connections.Do not try to use a regular splitter for this as the receiver sends voltage to the LNB and a splitter will allow this tension to feed back into the antenna connection possibly causing damage his equipment. Also never heard of anything such as a 3-way diplexer, a diplexer combines / separates SAT and the ant to / from a line.Hope this has helped some. I just saw the photo you sent with your question, and that is not a diplexer. That is a regular splitter, as used in cable television production have to remember that the satellite receiver sends DC voltage to the plate, using a splitter that does not have a DC filter and a diplexer not allow the electricity to power again where none is intended to be and will harm your computer.

Income may be higher for the installation of a tenant of a commercial antenna on the roof?

My house, apartment has a commercial tenant (with a contract lease) who wants to install a satellite communications antenna lottery (about 4 feet by 4 feet in size) on the roof. Can I ask additional rent and consideration for this? What is a reasonable rent review?

I would not allow it. Its roof, his responsibility. Just Say No.

Anyone know if TiVo (and which) will work in a 1080 high-definition television without cable or satellite?

We are trying as hell to avoid having to buy "pay television." I've heard of TiVo can work with only one HDTV 1080 p. Is this correct? If so, can I buy a monthly service to work?

TIVO certainly work with a 1080p TV. You want to get high definition capable TIVO and although not a unit 2 of the old series with an analog tuner. Here are your options and http://www.tivo.com/dvr-products/home/index.html depending on the duration of the contract, you will pay at least $ 10 per month. Tivo is useless without a subscription.

I keep losing my TV’s control. Can anyone help me?

I need help because I keep losing my remote control, and I have tried nearly everything (that doesn’t cost money) to keep it in one place. I always put my control on top of the TV, but my mom and cousins are always taking it and losing it. Any ideas as to how to keep it from getting lost? Also, I am NOT buying an universal RC or one of those remote control finder things (the ones that emit a signal)…
I have tried to put it inside my drawers/cabinet/whatever you want to call it, on the windowsill, ect..

Here is what my dad did, go out and buy a few peices of velcro and stick one to the remote and the other to the couch.Make it very clear to your family that when they are not using it then they need to put it back on to the velcro, every time the velcro loses traction, replace the strips. If that does not work and it is your remote then keep it in your room where only you can find it.Oh yeah and since you don’t wanna spend a lot of money, velcro is only like $2.00 for about 4 strips.Good Luck.

Are recording with my recorder is still possible now that I have a Motorola DCT3416 DVR and a HD signal from Comcast?

The cable type coaxial cables connected in this order: 1) The cable in the house is connected to the RF cable. RF OUT 2) The cable is connected to VHF / UHF IN on the VCR. 3) VHF / UHF OUT of the VCR is connected to cable television. And he connected HDMI OUT from the cable box HDMI IN on TV. Watch TV when I select the HDMI input works well. Recording with the DVR works well. However, I am not able to watch TV or record TV with my VCR when I select the cable input (again, the cable entry is where the coaxial cable is in the end.). Should be able to watch TV and record TV with my VCR using coaxial cable signal and the aforementioned configuration Connection?

DCT3416, Sure you can record with your VCR. Are you sure you are connected the way you describe? RF output of the box Cable VHF / UHF in the video? That should work. Can you play a VHS tape? If you can not play a tape that are not connected correctly. When they sign not expect the digital quality. Will be outmoded as VHS. Norm

TV Antenna – Outdoor?

After the Digital conversion I lost channel 11 and 5 was somewhat choppy. I replaced my very old outdoor antenna with a new Winegard HD8200U Platinum Series High Definition VHF/UHF TV Antenna. I have about 40 feet of cable from antenna to TV. I also have a large tree near the house. Now I have channel 11 but 2 is gone and 5 is worse than before. I live 30 miles from Chicago where most of the broadcasts are from. What can I do? I also remember hearing that every channel will eventually switch to UHF. Is that true? If so when and will that help my reception?

The Winegard HD8200U is a directional antenna, which means that the reception you get will vary based on where it is pointing. Try rotating it until you get the best reception on the channels you want to receive.

Every channel is not switching to UHF, some are still on VHF, and for the most part, after the June 12th analog shutdown they are all on their final frequency.

HDTV? If the path of my satellite box through my Phillips HD DVR, which is in my HDTV, if I have an HDTV?

Will it increase the quality of my image?

In order for a high resolution photo is that you need a high definition source. For example, High Definition TV isn't an HD TV as such, has a TV tuner that receives HD and television shows. Therefore, you will need to remain high definition from the tuner satellite receiver for television. You will have to be on a HD service provider satellite, the path of the satellite box via HDMI (High Definition Media Interface) on the HD DVR after the HDMI out DVR HDMI televisions in addition, if it shows any sign on a TV HDMI, if not come as a high definition signal, which is not converted to HD, so it will not become better.
