Hdmi Cable
I ordered an HDMI cable for my HD Cable Box and HDTV. Big difference over component for 1080i?

I got a new HDTV and an HD cable box. The cable box was a new model, and had an HDMI port, and so did my HDTV so I ordered an HDMI cable which is coming today. Even though I will still be viewing at 1080i with the HDMI cable, as did I with the component cables, will I see a picture quality increase? Thanks.

It all relevant to how your TV accepts the different inputs. Generally HDMI is going to be the optimal input but you’re not going to notice much of a difference. The overall image should be slightly sharper looking and have much less chance of visual noise.

Sat Cable

I have a JVC LT-32EX18 LCD tv and hoked it up to the SAT cable from the settopbox. I can only get one channel?

Hooked it up to the SAT cable and ran the automatic channel selector, but it only captured one channel.?? The TV the cable was hooked to is an old CRT, and the NEW TV is supposed to be PAL and NTSC compatible.

Well the satellite box is only supposed to output Channel 3, and the Satellite box does all the channel-changing……

That’s why you only get one channel on your TV set…..

So, once that’s done, now you need to connect up either an HDMI cable or COMPONENT cable from your satellite’s Video output connections to get HD signals to your HD TV set…..

Because Channel 3 is still a LOW DEF signal out of your Satellite box anyways……they provide that output signal to be used for the long distance runs to other TV sets that are not HD TVs…..

And that box should be an HD satellite box (with the HD logo on the front of the box)

If you are a cable subscriber, is there any way to see the extra digital TV channels?

Do not suggest an antenna because I had the antenna and the converter and our city does not receive digital television channels – no one else can pick them up well. I wonder if there is any way to access them on cable however. I have all local cable channels and they all say they have additional digital channels.

You should get with digital box supplier.

Roku HD-XR unveiled, is the cable box on the way out?

hi, can someone share ideas if the pioneer vsx-5000 can be hook up with cable tv. thanks?

thanks, i did connect the tv cable to the the receiver catv input. but i hear or see anything. what selection do i need to select?

Just connect the “audio out” plugs (should be a red and a white) from your cable box to the receiver. Whatever audio input you use on the receiver (cd, tv, ect..) is what you’ll switch it to when you want to hear the tv sound. I don’t really see a need to run the video through your receiver, so just keep that hooked up straight to your TV from your cable box.

What is the difference between digital and regular cable?

I thought get cable TV when the switch comes to that I have to buy a box converter, but now I hear that if you do not see digital cable has yet to get the converter box.does nobody knows the difference or whether this is still true?

The digital switch next February, has nothing to do with the cable. Next February, the free to air stations through you would get with an antenna to turn off their analog signals. They have had digital signals in the air since 2002. Cable companies are private companies. They can do pretty much they want. If your specific cable company is making a change, it is because they decided they did not because of any legislation. Check with the company cable service on analog TVs. It is likely that still have analog TV packages and if you want digital cable, can provide a cable box the analog output.

How do I get my tv to pick up channels from the coaxial cable?

I’ve connected my philips tv to a coaxial cable in my new apartment, but every channel is fuzzy. I don’t have cable or dish, I just want basic channels.

“Basic Channels” do not just magically appear. You either connect your TV to an antenna and get them for free or pay some cable or satellite company to provide the signals for you.

Most likely the coax outlet you found is a cable company outlet, and the fuzzy channels that you see are just unintentionally leaking through.

There is a slight possibility that cable goes to a big antenna on the roof or that basic cable is included with your rent. If that’s the case the people who rented you the place would have probably told you.

A short conversion with your landlord or neighbors would probably clarify this. They might know what kind of antenna works best at your location also.

If you need to know what kind of antenna to try, your zip code, distance to transmitters, and what’s between you and the transmitters is critical information.

I have a blue tooth to my PC to synchronize with my mobile phone or any other mobile phones so he could send to the PC without any cable. Thanks!

would cardio 6 days a week get me to my results with proper eating habits. or should i just keep doing what im doing currently now which is,
Mon: chest
Bench press-95(10)-115(8)-115(6)
Peck Deck
Sitting bench press

Tues: running/ abs
Stair master (35-60) mins

Wed: Back/shoulders/ Tri’s/ Bi’s
Back pull downs
Cable rows
Shrugs
Cable machine for Tri’s
And curl’s for bi’s

Thurs: running
Treadmill speed intervals

Friday: Chest
Bench press-95(10)-115(8)-115(6)
Peck Deck
Sitting bench press

Sat: running/ abs
Stair master 35-60 mins

u want a great workout cardio that burns 7x the fat in 15mins…it’s not easy but it works
HIIT cardio
jog at pace 3 on atredmill 30 secs
sprint at 9 or 10 60secs
repeat until it hits 15mins or 20mins
this is intervel training burns the most fat i say throw that in ur plan 2x a week ur plan is good though
how longare ur workouts? dont make um longer than an hour and 1/2
and make sure uget enough lifting workouts in a day to stimulate the muscles
