Cable Signal
Is there a device to transmit a TV signal cable?

There is a special room in my home has an awkward location situation of making the cable. I would like to create television through the room making no attempt to hide the ugly wire along the wall. Is there a device that can connect to the power and transmit a signal across the room? Would it be a device for reducing image / sound quality or add a significant delay? Does any idea that can be fixed easily?

The best (and simplest) choice is to hire an electrician to install an additional jack where you want the output to be. This, of course, assumes that there is access to the upper space of your home. If this is not possible, you can run the cable behind the motherboard or buy some hollow molding store household items which can hide the cable.

Cable Signal
Why does a cable signal splitter sometimes not work with the internet, and sometimes it does?

I tried changing splitters and changing positions on the splitter. The cable TV works, but the internet won’t work unless I put the main cable on it. This is an intermittent problem.
Thanks, but I tried changing the cable too. Since I posted, I tried again with the same configuration, and now it is working. A little while ago it wouldn’t without coming through the main cable.

It’s probably a signal strength problem that may be intermittent as well. I know that my cable company ended up putting an amplifier on my cable inside the house instead of a splitter to improve the signal.

I’d suggest you call the cable company and get someone to check it out. For what you’re paying, you deserve to have it work the way you want all the time.

Let me add that I had the same exact problem as you are describing. Definitely get a tech to your house to get it fixed.
