Can I make a coaxial cable, where there is a "BNC" connector on one end and an "F" connector at the other end?
Once Moreover, I am trying to connect a DVR surveillance system to an old TV that has only an F connector on the back, and I wonder if video transfer and / or audio correctly …. not that I'm cheap, but I am faced with many situations where I have to convert to or from VGA, s-video, DVI, RCA, BNC, etc. …. For So I'm trying to figure out exactly what can be connected to what you! For answers
As I said in another posting, if any, BNC is used instead a composite (RCA). As you guessed, you need a BNC-to-RCA adapter and a simple RF modulator with RCA coaxial input and out.

how do i convert coaxial to s-video?
i have s-video inputs on my tv tuner card but i am not sure how to hook up the cable to them. I have a coaxial cable line. Can someone tell me how this works? I am completely unfamiliar with this.
How do i get an s-video input from a coaxial cable line?
In my TV Tuner card for my desktop it has a coaxial line input, RCA Audio/Vidoe cable input, and S-Video Input. My Laptops TV Tuner card has a connector that came with it that allows me to plug S-Vidoe or RCA Audio/Vidoe cables to it, and it also has a spot to plug in a antenna wire, this also had a connector that I can plug into it so that the antenna inputs connector is a coaxial connection.
If yours did not come with this then the only other way I know that you could convert so to speak a coaxial cable to a S-Video cable easily is at Radio Shack I found a unit for my TV that allows any type of connection input, it has four input sections which are attached to 4 buttons on the front so I can pick which input I want to be connected to the TV at the time.(Coaxial, RCA Audio/Video, and S-Video) then it has 1 set of these for outputs.

I have a 32″ panasonic viera lcd tv and a 40 gb ps3. I want to get an hdmi cable but which ones work the best?
Does it really matter what price the hdmi cable is or what brand it is from? Because i want to get something for less than $20 and something that works great and lasts long.
If the distance between TV and PS3 is less than 3 meters – any cable will work, just buy one for 10-15$ and that’s it. If the distance is bigger – get Monstercable or Sony, etc.

coax cable to av cable question?
i have a vcr dvd recorder hooked up to my tv. it doesnt have a coax input so i need to run composite cables to it. unfortunately, im running a coax cable to my tv and the box setup all by itself so it sets there idle. is there some kind of cable or adapter that i can get to convert the coax into the composite cables?
There is a converter that costs around 60 dollars to convert your input. Its available at any bestbuy in the home theater section near the monster and rocket fish tv cables.

how to connect a hardrive CPUs flat cable to a USB port.?
OK what im trying to do is get my self a powered USB hard drive. I have 30 cables hard and flat as 5 USB male.what i want to do is cut the ribbon cable in the middle of the cables are exposed, and connect the four wires (black, white, green, red) in the USB cable to the ribbon cable. its possible so if U think you can not even do respond.thanks;)
It is possible the way he is doing. What they do not realize the drive enclosures have MUCH OF Inside Electronics. They can be packed to a single circuit board with some chips, but that's a lot of electronics. THAT HAVE NOT or understand. The electronics is in the USB protocol, self-discovery by computer as a storage device, and all that, and that makes regular signals SDI, and the reverse route (SDI signals back into USB). In addition, the hard disk drive cable is parallel to floor (which is why they have 40 lines), and USB, as its name implies, is SERIES. So you need a timer, and a protocol converter bi-directional. And clearly, the way in which you ask, that they have no idea of what these are, let alone how. buy a USB box and put your internal hard drive.
