How can you put a strap on a guitar that only has a hook?
I have a very nice acoustic electric for Christmas, with an amplifier pocket and cable, electric tuner and a strap. I've searched every dang one million times, but I can not figure out how to put the belt on him! There is a small knob on the bottom, but nothing else to connect to do so. How to put the belt on him?
There are two options: 1) can tie up loose ends with a cord running under the strings between the tuning head and the nut on the upper neck. This is the method traditionally used with folk guitars. 2) you can get another command of a guitar shop – which cost very little, and attach with a screw in the heel of the neck.
