Will using a DTV Converter with analog cable let me receive more digital channels?

I have one TV with digital cable box and another using analog cable where no box is needed. If I use a DTV converter with the analog cable, will it let me receive some of the extra digital exclusive channels I already have on my other set?
(Hope I am explaining this correctly)

No. The converter box is only for receiving DTV signals over-the-air, with an antenna. Analog cable systems transmit analog TV signals (duh) and will continue to do so after the digital transition is completed in June. Your converter box won’t do a thing when hooked up to analog cable.

How many analog to digital converter boxes will I need?

I have a split cable signal to 3 TV’s in my house. Two of the 3 TV’s have cable set-top boxes (no issue there). The third (analog) TV is connected to cable, but without a cable box. Will I need a converter box for this TV even though it had a direct cable connection without a box?

The digital converters boxes are ONLY for Over-the-Air TV broadcasts NOT cable TV. For cable nothing will change for now.

The cable company will inform you when and if you need to get a cable TV converter box for cable digital broadcasts. Then you will get one from the cable company to receive cable digital signals.

The Over-The-Air converter boxes do NOT work with cable TV.

How to make coasters with digital photos too?

I was wacthing design on a dime on HGTV and co-host, Charles Burbridge made coasters with digital photos. All I know is that I have to use pictures and ceramic tile, but do not know what to use to attach the pictures in the pictures or what is pure on the images for his brilliant and dont get messed up .. Help! thanks

For the first time in your tiles if they are bright you may want to sand it lightly to get the brightness so that way they can stick better. Decopage should work. Make sure your photos are printed on paper, not photo paper. Apply at the back of the image. Decopage front of them. let dry. : To use as a coaster tile, apply a layer of water-based polyurethane to the tiles. Polycrylic Sealant produces a glow to the tiles. Apply the glaze over the layer of polyurethane in a sweeping motion from left to right and from the bottom up. PRESTO has mountains and custom tile. Just a suggestion though, since the custom tile pics be able to keep the condensation of drinking and may eventually run out. You may want to try making a photo decoupaging mountains to the bottom of a candle round glass dish. They tend to have a lip and even so you can not ruin the picture. Fun

What is the best semi pro digital camera to buy to use for weddings inside and out? My budget is around 1,500

I know that the glasses and cards and everything else is extra, so the more bang for 1500 in the camera, the better. I've heard from Nikon and Canon. Please help me!

It would be prudent to be aware of any agreement (as above) that is too good to be true. The D200 body runs between $ 1,300 and $ 1,500 in stores reputable retailers, so the agreement certainly would fall into the "too good to be true" category. Best camera is like many other bait " and-switch equipment using a variety of techniques to try and screw your hard-earned money. Before buying any thing, check out ResellerRatings.com Here's a link to the comments and ratings on this particular store: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Best_Price_Cameras_6 OK – Back to your original question. Canon and Nikon are the two brands to go with, of course. Both are important and pro camera manufacturers make good cameras and lenses. We also have a wide range of lenses and other accessories to choose from. The are tons of 3 accessories for these brands there too. That said, I suggest you focus on the EOS30D, the D200 and D80. The reason for this is that they have some favorable characteristics, but are less expensive by quite a bit from the top of the line from these manufacturers. I personally owner of a D200 and love it. The D80 is the same image quality, but lacks some of the "Pro", as metal body, high frame rate, etc., but I still consider the D80 as "Semi-Pro". The EOS30D is also excellent, but I have not personally used.

Where can I get a cable to connect my DTV converter to my LCD computer monitor?

RCA at one end of this cable to feed into a digital DVI monitor at the other end.
Does RCA output from the new convert er box interface to VGA on my LCD monitor if there is a cable to connect these devices? Help me simplify these gadgets!

What kind of video card do you have and does it have any other inputs?

I’ve found this: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat%5Fid=2816&sku=40320 but it’s HDMI to DVI, not composite (RCA) to DVI.

Does anyone know how to fix an apex digital tv that has no volume on one channel And a show in spanish?

Check to make sure the SAP isnt on. Go to the channel with the spanish and hit the audio button on your remote…make sure sap is turned off. As far as the one with no sound it could be the same problem or another setting that mutes that certain channel. Good luck!

What to do with broken old digital camera?

I have a Cannon SD 110 that I paid $380 for about 4 years ago. The lense is now broken and it wont take any pictures. I still have the box, users manuals, and all wires that came with it. It seems like a waste to throw this in the trash, but I dont know what else to do with it?

Does anyone want a broken digital camera? Where can I donate this? Or is it just pure garbage that depreciated quicker than a new pinto?

SELL it on ebay, or donate it to the salvation army, maybe just maybe some1 who can fix it or needs parts will want it.
