The previous owner of the branch that I left the house and an RCA DSS disc mounted on top of the house. When connecting, I can only see the screen direct TV channel that require a code. Not interested in these channels. I wonder how I can view other international channels which is an FTA. Do I have to buy other teams?
The DIRECTV equipment is only for DirecTV. If you do not buy a package of them, then the equipment is useless. The antenna can be designed for other satellites, but you need a different receiver. For local broadcasters, need a separate TV antenna. A satellite dish is not suitable for on-air reception.
