Cable Ringer
I connect my Sanyo Katana (SCP-6600 ringtones) to download .. Do I need the software or simply a USB cable?

and all who have studied the software says you can not write in shades of the katana, is that the truth … Is there a software that can write tones or pictures to my katana?

most of USB are not programmed with software for Windows to recognize them … even XP, now based on my research, this is the way it woks …. Sprint / Bell (Bell is the provider Canadian network) is the provider of services and not the manufacturer, and in general should contact the fixture manufacturer Sanyo, still, yet I took the liberty of navigation and the search for some information on your website and was unable to locate any software for this, so we recommend you contact Sprint technical support with dual controls (if you are with Sprint) @ 1-866-818-1944

Coax Connectors
By putting an F connector on the coaxial cable has braided cable cut?

I'm trying to coax F connector on the coaxial cable. I am using the following instructions: http://www.hometech.com/learn/coaxterm.html I have everything cut as directed. My question is: Can twisted wire cut flush with the outer layer of plastic or bend backward around the outer layer? "And stay foil wrapped around the 2nd white plastic interior or aluminum foil is cut flush?

Cut the twisted, but do not cut it all off. Bend / bend back. It will contact the outside of the connector and be grounded. Act as a return signal and a shield to help prevent outside interference. You can cut the entire sheet.

Coaxial Cable
How do I run the coaxial cable in an old house?

Hi, I wonder how I stretch of coaxial cable through a house that has never before coaxial cable. Is there such a thing as an outlet cover that contains a port CAT6, port and two coaxial sockets or something similar? Thanks!

To run the coaxial cable through the house …. not impossible, but it can be a job to do a good clean high quality work. The physical part you need to study. The electrical part as to what type of sockets, boards, Cat 5, Cat 6, etc. exist. This is my suggustion. Do not go to any store of consumers and try to get the necessary item. The reason is that they provide what you really need, and you end up with a "make do" improper install. Hint: Go to your local electrical parts / Wire distributor. That's the same place every local electricians purchase of cables, boxes, outlets, making snacks, etc. They will have several catalogs of their suppliers and can show what each has available. From my experience: you will start seeing those items you never knew existed. Use the experience, and complete installation as a professional. You'll like it when complete. she. The answer to your last question is: Yes, but you have to find who can provide you with it. Good luck and that the good Lord take a comparison 'to ya'

Dual Polarity
DUAL POLARITY power supply?

can someone show me how to make a +/- 12, +/- 5 dual polarity power supply?

I can try to describe it or you can find schematics online.

A lot depends on how much current you want, I’ll guess at 1 amp each. I’d start out with a 12-0-12 VAC transformer. After 4 diodes and 2 big caps, you will have ±16 volts DC. Then use some 3 terminal regulators with heat sinks. Like LM7812 and LM7912.

If you don’t want a lot of current, you can use 5 volt regulators from the same raw ±16 volts, again, on a heat sink, or you use a different transformer, perhaps with about 8-0-8 volts secondary.

Download the data sheets for the 3 terminal regulators, and study them.
