How I can test a boat motor switch or kill switch, no power of the boat, the battery right?

1998 90hp Force was running large, entered the spring and lost all power, I thought I would start with the ignition switch or kill switch? Thanks

The kill switch has nothing to do with the battery – only disable the short circuit spark ignition module. If it is defective and crank the engine starts up the battery is depleted, but not start. Find the 20 amp fuse in an inline fuse holder red wire on a high in the port side of the engine, which comes from the plug from the main deck. Disconnect, clean and reconnect the cables to the battery post – corrosion can be hidden between two connectors there. By "clean" I mean to make 'em shine, use sandpaper if necessary. For "reconnect" I mean tight tight tight – if you have wing nuts, pliers used in them. Loose connections kill rectifiers. Jiggle manage change – perhaps the neutral safety switch is getting sticky. After it is out of the multimeter and test the switch.

How do you see the future of democracy and governments globally?

Information technology will be penetrating even deeper into how we communicate. 15 years ago internet was non-existent, now it’s pretty much everything. Censoring is hard online. In 15 more years you’ll be able to rent a room and buy groceries in Nairobi via your cell.

So where do you see democracy in 15 years, how about 50 years? Are we reaching information singularity when you fart and the whole globe knows?

It really is reaching the point where there is no such thing as a “Secret” any more.
One of two serious Nuclear-class breakthroughs down the road, and microphones and cameras will become completely obsolete. We should be able to cast our voices and images wherever we want them to go, and retrieve any information we want.

Government will become fascinating to watch once lying becomes impossible, because anyone interested will be able to look back and see and hear what really happened.

I hate to break it to you, but you can already rent a room and buy groceries in Nairobi or any other city where you are not, via cellphone! my bank has offered me this option, but I have declined to use it because of security concerns. (We have no protection from hacking, to speak of!)

Recently, it was discovered that Terrorists could tap into American Military drones. We already know Hackers can hijack satellites in orbit. How about when they launch their own satellites from their own backyards, with kits they assemble themselves?

Recently, a graduate colleague of my boss’ asked me to recommend him some videos to watch. I very sincerely informed him that my main supplier man had just now got the complete “STAR TREK: Voyager,” and he ought to see it. He pouted contemptuously, and informed me that HE only watched “realistic films.” I declined to comment further.

He was a Black man, in a self-determined independent African democracy, holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Science, on his belt was a “communicator” that could place calls to the antipodes, if he chose, one his lap sat a computer, of such power, that, at the time STAR TREK: The Original Series was aired, would take up the floor space of the entire facility we were in.

HE was telling ME, who was born 6,000 miles from where we were, and traversed the distance in less than a day, that “He didn’t watch “unrealistic” shows.” Many people in my parents’ country are educated beyond their intelligence. For instance, no Nigerian has seen our President for three months now, but the Vice-President claimed to have spoken to him several times, and the BBC claim to have interviewed him. But in this day and age, such communications can easily be backed with video, so we know that some sort of deceit was involved. Twenty years ago, you could get away with that sort of thing without cause for suspicion, since you would not expect a sick man to be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of setting up a camera crew in his ward. But now, with our cellphones, any place can be a studio! They can no longer use that excuse!

Now anyone can monitor elections, and count every person who enters a polling-booth.
You can’t invent voters, or make them disappear with the old tricks any more!
The serious bugging and surveillance devices have not yet hit our country yet, but they are coming, and we will have reports on anything the politicians say or write behind closed doors!

I am thinking about changing my gyro system to a straight cable stem.?

What are a few different CHEAP ways i could do this? Cheap being the key word. (I only need back breaks!)
what are the cheapest ways i could do this with the prices please oh and i only need back breaks

Use a linear cable, that way you can still do barspins. This type cable doesn’t lock up the brakes when you spin.

Do I get full sound capabilities with RCA cables?

I have a low end Yamaha deck http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/HTIB/HTR5830.htm that has digital optical inputs for DVD and my Sony DVD player has coax digital audio, so I’m stuck using component for video but RCA for audio.

Does this impact the features to my 5.1 setup, or does it just decrease the quality of the signal. Will I still get all these audio capabilities? If so, will I really hear the difference?

From the Yamaha site, the sound realism features.
Dolby Digital/Matrix 6.1 and DTS/Matrix 6.1 Compatibility plus Dolby Pro LogicII Decoding
Quad-Field CINEMA DSP Programs and 14 Surround Programs
Night Listening Mode and SILENT CINEMA

You probably would noy hear the difference. You did not say what kind of speakers you have. That makes the biggest difference in my experience, between good & weak sound quality. If the rest of your system was all top-shelf stuff, the optical connection might be more noticeable.

How can I switch off the ticking in digital clocks, electronics in a 4×4cm box powered by one AA battery?

If it has a piezo-electric buzzer it could make a ticking noise. What you would need to do is remove the buzzer, measure the resistence, then replace it with a resistor that matches the measured resistance.

How can I loop the Cat 5 cable without crimping tool?

I am a soldier stationed in Iraq, and I'm trying to create an Internet network. We have many cables varies, so I decided to make some. I have a bag of cables and connectors, the only problem is, I do not have a tool crimping! Can it be done manually with a small scew driver? If so, how far down the bronze pin down? Also, I do straight or crossover cables cables>, which is faster?

You could, but we're talking about a long time. Make a right on if not going PC to PC. You frustrate the hell out of himself trying to do without a tool. Good luck,
