How do I set my Conaxsat CNX-Fta receiver?

Can you use FTA boxes with a dish network installed dish?

I am a current dish network customer and am considering purchasing a FTA unit for one outlet in my house. Can I continue dish network service and have a FTA unit?

Consider getting someone who knows how to install a dish to help you because if you don’t have a line to your outlet house it can be complicated. You may need to buy a switch or a extra dish which you can find cheaply on craigslist.org

If you’re a handy man and you buy a receiver from me then I will send you over some documentation on how to set up a dish 500.

Remember this: LNBs. If its a dual LNB then it goes to two rooms. Best bet is to find a dish 500 and point toward 119 and 110.

Finally– to answer your question: YES! You can even have a FTA receiver in input 2 of your computer. then use input one to your dish. so when you want to watch FTA you can change the input on your remote.

No sound on plasma tv when trying to watch cable?

I have a HCT HPP-42HCB Plasma tv. I do not get any sound when I try to watch cable but when I hook up my Xbox to tv, then I can hear sound from the speakers. Is there something in the menu that I have to switch to be able to hear sounds?

check audio settings on both the tv and the box menu. Make sure no secondary audio programming is on – this causes no audio in some situations
