Is it true that the wrong type of coaxial cable used to connect to a TV may interfere with the signal?
A company technician cable that came to my apartment to do some work told us that we were using cable is not the type of cable used with the cable company and therefore the connection to wire the cable company can cause signal interference. He said we should only use the type of coaxial cable use the cable company. Is it true you used the wrong coaxial cable can cause signal interference or is that just misinformation?
Yours is probably cheaper and could leak a little. They use the front-line professional equipment. I do not really worry about it.

What he said is true. Just use shorter UHF elements. Next year, all stations TV is switched to UHF channels for digital broadcasting. How I can connect a Sony DVD player that does not have coaxial and a TV converter box with RF modulator APEX?
My dvd player sony does not have a coaxial terminal. I followed the instructions I got with the compact RF modulator is done and all I see is a black screen with white lines blurred. I want to be able to watch a DVD and TV without having to disconnect and reconnect the cables to the TV. PLEASE HELP ME!

Is it possible to receive HDTV broadcast using only an existing UHF/VHF antenna with a coaxial cable?
Can any coaxial cable be used at some point connecting to a HDTV set or must it be REPLACED all the way from the antenna to the set?

A good rule of thumb is….if you get very good analogue reception on the antenna and coax you are currently using…then you should get good digital reception
My TV 2137tsil Bush can not find my Nintendo Wii in VHF or UHF. How do I schedule to find it?
I have no control over remote or manual, but appear to be able to use the manual search settings by pressing the two volume buttons. The problem is that Nintendo just does not pick up. It is connected through a Scart connector and everything is plugged in. I'm just borrowing the Wii for a short time, so I have no time to order a remote control or manual.
No, you must be able to access the other antenna and have not found the button on the TV now, you can only do it with a remote control. You could buy a universal remote that might work. If not, just return it.

My question is: Can twisted wire cut flush with the outer layer of plastic or bend backward around the outer layer? Cut the twisted, but do not cut it all off. Bend / bend back. It will contact the outside of the connector and be grounded. Act as a return signal and a shield to help prevent outside interference. You can cut the entire sheet.
Does anyone know where i can buy a UHF/VHF Transformer?
I live in Ontario Canada and Radioshack has closed down it’s stores. I can’t find any at The Source so im wondering if there are any other places that is near Toronto in Ontario that sells UHF/VHF Transformers. If you are not sure but you know of an electronic supply store please post.

I heard that if you hook up the yellow parking brake wire to the ground off of the head unit you can watch movies while the car in in motion for my passengers to watch. I tried it and it does not work. need help maybe i did something wrong thanks….
Took a look at the manual on Crutchfield…if you closely to the diagram your safety wire requires 12v and not a ground. Hook this wire to the Blue/white wire that is used for turning on your amps. That will supply 12V when you power up and your screen should work whenever your system is on….FYI…illegal as all hell if you can see it too so be careful around the fuzz!!!

I have finally begun helicopter pilot lessons and my instructor told me you have to be 50% of the way through ground school before going to double-cross our country. What is a good online course for this? Thank you very much!
I do not think there are courses on-line. You need to complete ground school with your instructor or complete a book written examination testing (or CD) You can go many places online to find these things, but there is no on-line course I know. You must complete the ground school training with his flight makes the flight much clearer.
