A 10 meters stereo amplifier cable need?
Hi I am connecting the TV audio output to stereo speakers is 10 meters. And I am using a 10m cable for connecting stereo them. – Does the quality of the signal is lost due to long distance – Do I have to complete before sending the signal taking into account the distance
It depends on what TV Out "is. If it's one or two RCA connectors or a similar result low level … need an amplifier. If production is high level (speaker terminals) can be connected directly to speakers (two stereo cables … one for each speaker) and 10m not a problem (assuming that the cable used is larger than about 26 AWG). If this is a sound headphones Kack will be marginal at best because impedance will be bad for the speakers and the amount of energy in a headphone jack is very low. Since refers to a 10m "stereo cable" I suspect is doing the first option above … and will not work.

Is there any iphone applications have Harmony universal remote-like functionality of Logitech?
I know there are applications for the iPhone to come (Plaza Connect, for example) with universal remote capabilities. Do I have to offer "one-touch activity-based control" as the Logitech remote controls Harmony does? Is there anything Logitech planning?
In general, remote controls for things like TVs, stereos, cable boxes, etc. .. the use of IR (Infrared) to discuss the remote control device. The iphone has no infrared capability as far as I'm aware, and will probably not work to change your TV.

I have an Ethernet “network connection” port on my HD/DVR and my A/V receiver. Is ther any reason I should connect the two? What else besides hooking these up to a computer network are these ports for?
The HD-DVR is so the unit can automatically download firmware updates. If you dont want to do this, you can usually burn the updates into a CD-R disk and use this to update things.
(I just did this with 2 machines this weekend).
I dont know about the receiver. You have to read the manual to see why it has a port.
Note: I usually advise people to plan on putting a telephone jack and Cat5/6 eathernet behind their equipment rack. More and more things want this: PS3/XBox360 for ‘Live’ and to download HD movies, etc.
So I think it is worth doing.

gas furnace doesn’t ignite unless manually flip power switch?
fan kicks on, ignitor clicks then shuts off with fan still running….but if we flip the power switch within a few seconds after ignitor goes off, then we can fire it up. Already installed new programable t-stat.
A lot of times if you can reset the power and get the furnace to fire there is something wrong in the circuit board, either a connection or a bad board. Its like the brain of the furnace is having a mental block and the power reset is resetting its mind for it . This is a common call from customers.

How do I connect to my desktop with ethernet laptop to use wireless laptops to the Internet? ?
I need to connect my desktop to my laptop and use my wireless laptop to connect to the router .. router is in another room and my ethernet cable will not reach. Is there a program to do it? Please give me answers in depth.

What is the difference between digital and regular cable?
I thought get cable TV when the switch comes to that I have to buy a box converter, but now I hear that if you do not see digital cable has yet to get the converter box.does nobody knows the difference or whether this is still true?
The digital switch next February, has nothing to do with the cable. Next February, the free to air stations through you would get with an antenna to turn off their analog signals. They have had digital signals in the air since 2002. Cable companies are private companies. They can do pretty much they want. If your specific cable company is making a change, it is because they decided they did not because of any legislation. Check with the company cable service on analog TVs. It is likely that still have analog TV packages and if you want digital cable, can provide a cable box the analog output.

How do I get my tv to pick up channels from the coaxial cable?
I’ve connected my philips tv to a coaxial cable in my new apartment, but every channel is fuzzy. I don’t have cable or dish, I just want basic channels.
“Basic Channels” do not just magically appear. You either connect your TV to an antenna and get them for free or pay some cable or satellite company to provide the signals for you.
Most likely the coax outlet you found is a cable company outlet, and the fuzzy channels that you see are just unintentionally leaking through.
There is a slight possibility that cable goes to a big antenna on the roof or that basic cable is included with your rent. If that’s the case the people who rented you the place would have probably told you.
A short conversion with your landlord or neighbors would probably clarify this. They might know what kind of antenna works best at your location also.
If you need to know what kind of antenna to try, your zip code, distance to transmitters, and what’s between you and the transmitters is critical information.
