How I can autotune my Directv HD DVR & receiver to automatically change channels to record?
I have a Directv HD receiver + DVR (HR20 model) and when I set it up to record a program used to automatically change the channels that show when it began. Not now and it shows up as a spectacle ago unregistered because they do not switch. Is there any way to automatically change to record?
Ok, first you can not configure it to change, I'm sorry fighting. Second, if your recording is not that you may have a problem with the tuner. First I would like to restore it. If that does not work, call the TV digital, and for the technology department. Have them run some tests on it. You have two tuners and if it doesn't record something is wrong. If all else fails, you can technology to look into it, or God forbid he format. Hope that helps!
I have a new HDTV ready with a pretty good picture, but where I live, the landlord accept a plate! Any other alternative? (No cable either) Is it possible through my PC?
You do not say where you are, but in the U.S. the landlord can not deny that having an antenna or satellite dish. See a very good explanation here: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index; _ylt = AgSKpPzuU.gctyG0tT6esykjzKIX; _ylv = 3? Qid = 20070707164308AA0Kk3S.
How I can connect my DVD player, dual tuner DVR cable box and an A / V receiver to my HDTV?
I have a DVR Comcast dual tuner, HDTV Vizio, Panasonic DVD / VCR and Kenwood A / V receiver How I can hook them all together? Right now are all individually connected to the TV so it is impossible to establish the video on the screen and I can not get the A / V receiver to work only with the TV.
It depends on your input and output is in each component. If the DVR is not HD then connect the yellow cable TV and the red and white for the receiver. If it is HD then use an HDMI cable or component cables. The DVD will be the same. If you have optical audio output on your TV, then use it. Connect all components TV then use an optical cable from TV to receiver. Now the TV's audio will play in the receiver, no matter what you're seeing.
using cat5 cable and baluns to connect a cctv camera to your DVR recorder
I have a rear projection TV that is HD Ready (1080i) with no HDMI connection on the later. In the manual I have, that says I can connect a digital TV receiver to it. My digital TV is also ready for change in February. So what exactly would be the DTV receiver to do and why do you need? He says he would have to be related to five components: Y / G, Pr / R, Pb / D, A & R audio, and H & V (horizontal sync, vertical sync). Do I need this receiver at all? I know what it means. Do I need and what you do?
The air shows are performed by analog signals. In February these signals are digital signals. Reg atten never made to pick this up. What a DTV receiver to do is pick up digital over the air signals and converts them to an analog signal for older analog TVs that have no built-in receiver. TVs HD DVD News should this receiver built in. If you have cable or other pay services do not have anything to worry about. Note that the image quality, the whole phenomenon of HD is better with a paid service as it loses air quality high definition, is much purest natural sources. Trust me, their is a difference. Basically, older TVs will have a disadvantage to survive, the television receiver digital disability. An HDTV must have this property are already inside. Usually you hit scan and ready analog and digital.

I live in Vancouver BC, but I will spend some time at an aunts house in Tacoma, Washington. As I sit there I'd be able to see the Vancouver common in air television channels (CBC, CTV, GLOBAL …) Since Tacoma is about 200 kilometers (About 175mi) south of Vancouver was thinking of purchasing a Winegard HD8200U High Definition Platinum Series VHF / UHF TV antenna that I hope to see some channels Vancouver and improve TV reception in my aunt. MY QUESTION: Is it possible to use this antenna to pick up stations in Vancouver? if there is any way to watch TV channels Vancouver on a local pay-TV service?
> Is it possible to use this antenna to pick up stations vancouver? No. The antenna will not work at that distance.> Any way to view local TV channels Vancouver in a pay-TV service? Very unlikely. I think your only hope is to listen via Internet channels. Start by checking the websites of the stations you want to see if online sample flow. (Probably not) If you have Internet high speed, both in Vancouver and Tacoma, it would be possible to stream channels yourself. The best known way to do this is to have a "Slingbox" at the end issuer to a then view the channel to use a computer at the receiving end.

I have an Ethernet “network connection” port on my HD/DVR and my A/V receiver. Is ther any reason I should connect the two? What else besides hooking these up to a computer network are these ports for?
The HD-DVR is so the unit can automatically download firmware updates. If you dont want to do this, you can usually burn the updates into a CD-R disk and use this to update things.
(I just did this with 2 machines this weekend).
I dont know about the receiver. You have to read the manual to see why it has a port.
Note: I usually advise people to plan on putting a telephone jack and Cat5/6 eathernet behind their equipment rack. More and more things want this: PS3/XBox360 for ‘Live’ and to download HD movies, etc.
What is the name of the cable from the antenna to the av?
I have an original xbox that I want to connect to a TV. The problem is that the only port in the TV antenna or cable is in port. I know it's a thinking that the port becomes a cable A / V, so you can connect the Xbox, I just I can not think what the wire is called as I have searched radioshack and elsewhere, but they come with nothing. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
