Stripping Tool
You know where I can buy a tool to remove the thorns off roses?

I understand that these tools can be bought in supplies wholesale florist but I know of none. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Alex is right, you can use a few common household scissors. If you have a lot of strands, and although they are not comfortable using it, I left a link to the page afloral below. Who provides the best service for the supply and installation of doors and windows in Minnesota? I hear Sunlite window and door is not the best price. Anyone know?

DIRECTV – Receiver standard to HD DVR?

Well I am a DIRECTV customer with regular type receiver. I just bought a big screen TV flat, so I need to upgrade to high definition receiver. So my question is that what if I buy the HD DVR receiver-local or a person Directv line instead of itself, will the DVR work or need a service for that and what my current channels, which are loaded in proper HD quality with HDMI? If the DVR is not possible, so what if I just bought the HD-receiver will be my load of current channels? How does the access card? I have one, but if we introduce to a different receiver, will all my channels to be there? Please someone clarify ….

Call before you buy a Directv HD-DVR elsewhere. You team can qualify for the discount. BTW, a new HD dish is required to view HD programming and online retail normally does not provide the plate. A dish can be bought through DirecTV and can have it installed, but usually included in the update of the receiver. You need to have access to DVR and HD assets in the account in order to register and receive HD channels. If you buy a pre-owned receiving an access card is necessary (in charge of, I think Directv $ 20). The first stop should call Directv.

Stripping Tool
Tool to me remove paint with my heat gun?

Im stripping our staircase of years of paint using a heat gun and the tool which came with it (a small steel triangle).

Ive got to the stage now where I need a smaller tool to remove the paint from the hard to get to areas by the spindles.

Can anyone suggest a good tool to use with my heat gun.

Please do not suggest Nitromours as Ive used it before and dont fancy the mess again.

there is a different type of shaving hook you can get in any good diy shop or a 1 inch scrapper. its best to use nitromours and wire wool when you have stripped all the paint this will get your wood looking really clean just wash down the wood with white spirits and sand down i done it on my stairs looks great

How do you break into a locked window/door?

I need to be able to get into a locked door, and we’ve tried taking the frame off and doing it that way, it worked until the guy noticed and staple gunned it back on.

it’s nothing illegal, my best friends dad keeps locking the phone in there and we need to use it. its such a safety hazard.
Breaking into a locked bedroom door? I don’t think that’s illegal. Why would it be illegal to break into a bedroom when she lives there? It’s not like I just walk up and decide to break in the front door.

It is illegal to open a purposely locked door in any structure without the permission of the property owner. Forcible entry constitutes Burglary in most states. Its obvious he doesn’t want you in there and he can put you in jail for forcing your way in.

How can I connect a HDMI wall plate for a home theater?

I want to wall mount a TV with the cables behind the wall. I'm looking for a clean look with wall plates. Is need for a separate HDMI cable behind the wall and then 2 more HDMI cables to come in every port? One in part top, one on the bottom? 3 cables for HDMI connection seems extensive, but each cable will only be 4 feet

You will need a cable to connect wall plate to the TV and then the wall plate to the other component (DVD, receiver …). Then you need a cable to the wall to connect the two plates wall. So technically it requires three cables, which can get expensive. But the connections will always be clean to be more expensive. I be happier in the long run, however!

Directv E2 SWM Expander… Can you use w/ the SWM5 and SWM8?

Having problems wiring up my dads house. I was told I could use TWO SWM5’s and the E2 SWM Expander. I am trying to run 5 HD DVR, and 4 HD but it’s not working. I get signal according to the bird dog meter but I’m goose egging(0) every other transponder. WILL THE SWM5 WORK W/ THE SWM EXPANDER? Please help.. Thank you

how to connect a hardrive CPUs flat cable to a USB port.?

OK what im trying to do is get my self a powered USB hard drive. I have 30 cables hard and flat as 5 USB male.what i want to do is cut the ribbon cable in the middle of the cables are exposed, and connect the four wires (black, white, green, red) in the USB cable to the ribbon cable. its possible so if U think you can not even do respond.thanks;)

It is possible the way he is doing. What they do not realize the drive enclosures have MUCH OF Inside Electronics. They can be packed to a single circuit board with some chips, but that's a lot of electronics. THAT HAVE NOT or understand. The electronics is in the USB protocol, self-discovery by computer as a storage device, and all that, and that makes regular signals SDI, and the reverse route (SDI signals back into USB). In addition, the hard disk drive cable is parallel to floor (which is why they have 40 lines), and USB, as its name implies, is SERIES. So you need a timer, and a protocol converter bi-directional. And clearly, the way in which you ask, that they have no idea of what these are, let alone how. buy a USB box and put your internal hard drive.
