I heard that you can connect the receiver to the Internet to receive the channels that do not decompose. I I do not know how to put into words exactly … Has anyone heard or been able to do something similar? In addition, the Sonicview 360 Elite has already broken permanently or am I the only one who has not received any updates or channels from the beginning of summer (it could have been more)? What is all this talk iHub about anyway?
Nothing you want is legal, it is considered piracy. If you want the encrypted channels, you must subscribe to them through a vendor payment. That receiver will work well for legal TLC TLC legitimate services. iHub is a device used to help the piracy of satellite television.

Is there a FTA satellite receiver to record television like TiVo?
We have a Coolsat receiver, but we are thinking sonicview. He tried to find a recording feature (I think it is called DVR), but have not found any luck. Thanks for any help.
Several receptors FTA have DVR, Visionsat IV200 PVR PLUS (Recommended), Diamond 9000 HD PVR receiver Relook 400 Linux. You should try to learn about each of these to see which is best for you.
I just bought one and I do not know how to configure it. Please help.
Setting IHub SV 1. Loader (over current file, if not the virgin receiver) 2. Plug Adapter 3. U will see message that connection adapter (may take up to 30 seconds) 4. Click the Setup menu ipconfig 5. DHCP Configuration type 6. Use DNS YES 7. Domain Name www. svftaiks.com 8. Server Port 1920 9. Serial Number put in the correct serial number to avoid problems. 10. Go to the application and click OK (no slip or used to keep you must click apply) That's watching TV NOTE If the screen goes to press the white button and black, yellow and then up arrow, then left …. This should turn the background color in the check your guide and menu again, if the guide is black for return to NTSF and this should return all color. Look at the bottom of the screen for how to enter letters. How do I enter the serial number for iHub? The serial number for iHub well as many electronic devices are in hexadecimal. Hexadecimal (commonly known simply as "Hex") only has 16 characters. They are the digits 0 through 9 and the letters A through F If you look at the number your serial iHub you will notice the lowercase letters are small and can be difficult to read. For example, the letter "E" may sound like a letter "o" with a slash through the center, but believe me it is an "E". When you go to the setup screen to enter the serial number look at the bottom of the screen and you will see a password for remote control buttons to use for letters. Now simply go in and save and that's it.
I want an FTA box that you don’t have to keep reprograming. I know Sonicview is new, but is it worry free? Are there any Viewsat or Coolsat boxes that are reprogram free?
If you are going to use it to pirate pay TV service, you need to keep reprogramming it no matter what receiver you choose, as the pay provider and hackers play their cat and mouse game with the security used to protect the provider’s services.
If you don’t want to have to keep reprogramming it, you have the option of going legit FTA, which means a bigger dish and a different viewing experience, or pay for your TV from the pay provider, using their receiver.
Nagra 3 is a new encryption methodology that takes the form of hardware and software. The hardware aspect of it, is in the form of Smartcards that paid subscribers to Bell Expressview and Dishnetwork receive for their receivers and decodes the satellite television signal. The software aspect of it, maintains legitimate subscribers are only authorized to watch on television, what their satellite plan dictates.
Nagra 3 on FTA means a few things, one, you will no longer be able to receive satellite programming because of the new encryption that has taken place.
Many people wonder how secure the new system really is, and how it defers from the previous iterations of Nagra.
Nagra 3 is the strongest encryption ever, and has yet to be broken by satellite pirates. Currently the only way to view television on free to air, is to use Internet key sharing, or IKS. IKS take the form of FTA FILES
Nagra is short for Nagravision. A thrid party company contracted to do security for the satellite receivers.
If you have a free to air receiver such as a viewsat ultra or a Captain 8000 HD, you will only be able to pick up true free to air signals and programming.
We recommend if anyone wants to get free to air from the providers, that you invest in an IKS sstem like a dongle. Sonicview CNX Nfusion and others support this. Sonicview makes an IHUB which we recommend.
In closing, Nagra 3 is a secure system, and is the security software of choice of all the major north american satellite television providers. Many paying customers have received a smart card in the mail in the last eight months, if you have not received one, please contact your local dealer.
