Help with something that has no idea, Viewsat Ultra Lite FTA receiver?

I recently bought a Viewsat Ultra Lite FTA receiver, or have a directv and dishnetwork, antenna in my house, what should I do now to make it work

You will not get many channels with the dishes. They are largely encrypted services. You will receive NASA TV, however, that the channel is enjoying getting TLC. It needs more 39 "dish and LNBF Ku really get TLC. A C-band dish if you can remove it. Do not let anyone tell you that connect your Dish antenna and unload containers and material decrpyt Dish service. That is stealing, illegal and against Y! A guidelines.

Lost Lady outlet, state trying to find one. The charger has 2 No 3 receptical. 24 volts.

if you plug in which goes to work 3-prong plug 12 volts – or good

Is it safe to use a powerstrip for a lot of electronics?

My entertainment center in my living room consists of a 55″ LCD, cable box, stereo amp, 3 video game consoles, a modem, a wireless router, a lamp, and a phone charger, all in all 10 electronics.

Is it safe to use a power strip connected to 1 power outlet for my entire set up?

Does 1 typical home power outlet supply enough power for all these devices? (keep in mind they won’t all be on at the same time)

I found a 12-outlet power strip made by Tripp Lite I would like to purchase, but I don’t know if it is a safe idea. Is this a good product?

The item you are looking at is rated at 20amps, so it probably will not have the standard plug that most other electronics have.

Is the circuit/outlet your plugging into rated for 20amps?
As far as all of your electronics on 1 circuit, each device has a wattage rating, add all of those up and then divide by 120, that will tell you what the maximum amperage that would be needed to run them all at the same time – I am pretty sure that you will be under 15 amps, which is what a typical home outlet is fused for.

Help with something i have no clue about, FTA ViewSAT Ultra Lite Receiver ?


I recently bought a ViewSat ultra lite FTA Receiver, u have a directv,and dishnetwork, dish on my house, what do i do now to get it to work

You won’t get many channels with those dishes. They are largely encrypted services. You will get NASA TV though, which is one channel I enjoy getting FTA.

You need a larger 39″ Ku dish and LNBF to really get into FTA. A C-band dish if you can pull that off.

Don’t let anybody tell you to connect it to your Dish dish and download bins and stuff to decrpyt the Dish service. That is stealing, illegal, and against Y!A guidelines.
