What will contain the value after an apocalypse?

In a post-apocalyptic world, the currency virtually worthless. Food will be difficult to achieve, and energy will be a task to achieve. My question is, given the scenario that the world is under the influence of a plan constant environmental management because it can not generate all the electricity, as it constantly is being sucked away. There is very little fossil fuels in this world. Ethanol is made in basements and solar is a luxury. The cars do not have much value in crowded areas, but beyond that, fuel is worth the price gold. Now they say that a lot of time and energy goes to an "unstoppable force" and the creation of a spacecraft that can lead to a large group of people to Alpha Centauri. In other words, the ideas are still valuable, fuel is extremely valuable, and whatever you're using to power this mother ship and leave this object is valuable. So what specific value of the substances would be worth?

The knowledge, health, good character, food and energy seem to be best. Solar energy should still be available despite any environmental management plan. Think positive, this will not happen in your life. God rules!
