gas furnace doesn’t ignite unless manually flip power switch?
fan kicks on, ignitor clicks then shuts off with fan still running….but if we flip the power switch within a few seconds after ignitor goes off, then we can fire it up. Already installed new programable t-stat.
A lot of times if you can reset the power and get the furnace to fire there is something wrong in the circuit board, either a connection or a bad board. Its like the brain of the furnace is having a mental block and the power reset is resetting its mind for it . This is a common call from customers.
i recently purchased a Samsung 32″ lcd hdtv (LN32A330) and hooked the cable tv up to it. what i did, was i had the original cable, then i had to use a coaxial splitter to still make the cable channels go to other tvs in the house. everything is hooked up fine on the samsung, (or so it seems) and the other tv’s cable channels work in the house, but all i get on the samsung is a snowy picture, like the cable isnt even plugged in. i have digital cable, and i read the manual and went to the ‘plug and play’ feature where it scans for channels, but it never finds any. does anybody have any suggestions to what i can do?
Use the Samsung’s on screen menu and switch the input to Cable. It’s probably on Antenna.
Why an LED light is low and the other is brighter, even the same tension that runs through both?
I designed a power supply dual polarity with +5 and -5 as output, with two LED to indicate that the circuit is working, which connects with the positive and the ground is brighter than the negative and land? I am sure that both are polarized!
Measuring field trips, while the LED light up. You may have an unbalanced circuit without good ground reference. Exchange LEDs also make sure they have the same characteristics. brightness of the light being switched from the current, not voltage, so if they have a slightly different strength will be brighter.
I had an old Compaq around and I took the power supply to add to my desk. It's a Gateway GT5028 and I have just replaced the motherboard [nothing big, just like the factory]. I want to add the power supply to my computer to have two power supplies. The extra power is a 14-pin. What do I do? Thank you!

I bought my first flat screen TV! What now? Only one RF input …?
I have only one RF input and I have basic cable. Do I have to choose between cable and my DTV antenna? possibly an updated antenna w / a HDMI output, I have 4 HDMI inputs on the TV. Moreover, these are the components I connect what is the best setup as far as cables from one side to another. NEW! 42 "Vizio 240Hz LCD Audoi old … Sony Receiver (w / HDMI for VIDEO 2 and one for DVD and one for monitor output, and also a DVD optical connectors IN COAXIAL + normal) man … Sony DVD Player with HDMI port right now I have the DVD player connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and television connected to receiver via A / V cables, but there seems to lag on the lips on the TV and speakers …. THANKS!
You can order a set-top box from your cable company (preferably with HD support). You can switch between cable and antenna with a RF switch, but it is necessary to return to explore each time, so a lot of pain. Most HD Set-top boxes also have antenna input as well.
Is it safe to use a powerstrip for a lot of electronics?
My entertainment center in my living room consists of a 55″ LCD, cable box, stereo amp, 3 video game consoles, a modem, a wireless router, a lamp, and a phone charger, all in all 10 electronics.
Is it safe to use a power strip connected to 1 power outlet for my entire set up?
Does 1 typical home power outlet supply enough power for all these devices? (keep in mind they won’t all be on at the same time)
I found a 12-outlet power strip made by Tripp Lite I would like to purchase, but I don’t know if it is a safe idea. Is this a good product?
Is the circuit/outlet your plugging into rated for 20amps?
As far as all of your electronics on 1 circuit, each device has a wattage rating, add all of those up and then divide by 120, that will tell you what the maximum amperage that would be needed to run them all at the same time – I am pretty sure that you will be under 15 amps, which is what a typical home outlet is fused for.

can an LED light bulb be dimmed? Can it be run on less wattage that it’s total output is?
I plan to put an LED headlight system on my quad which does not have a battery, only has power from a magneto (like a generator), which powers a 45W standard bulb, when you slam the gas down the bulb goes bright, and at idle it’s dim. I want to replace it with an LED fog light system, but I’m wondering if they will work if they don’t have a constant power source delivering full wattage. I know halogen bulbs can be dimmed, but they all draw 55W which is probaly too much juice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Led’s will also dim because the power dips and spikes when the rpm changes. Atv’s just have a crude electrical system.
I have played around with Luxeon led’s, I’m thinking this would work better. Luxeon’s need a driver circuit. Basically you wire this electrical box to the Atv’s 12v input and the Luxeon to the output. This box sends out a specific amperage and voltage to the led. It should help the dimming problem
Luxeon led’s are really bright and are now being used in flashlights. They draw very little power. The only bad part about them is that they get hot and need a heat sink(radiator).
