How I can get over the channel guide on my FTA receiver Viewsat UltraLite?
I recently started using receivers Viewsat Ultra Light FTA and I can only get 2 hours of the EPG at the moment. I went to User Configuration, and put it to the fullest, but I still only two hours. How I can solve this?

Will I have hd channells if I buy a directv hdtv receiver?
My tv is not hd ,I have directv service .with a standard rca box .If i buy a hdtv receiver box will I get hd channels or better pic .this receiver I want to buy says itdecodes and has an antenna and receives in all these different signals it has hdmi connections

The amount of wrong information in response to your question is shocking.
To get high Def from Directv, you need the following:
1. A slimline antenna
2. A HD Directv receiver
3. A HD capable TV
4. You have to subscribe to their HD package, which I believe is an extra $10 per month.
Your question is confusing. Initially you say your TV is not high def, but then in “additional details” you ask “does directv’s coax from the wall deliver hd to my hd receiver and hdtv”

My receiver / tuner keeps going out?
I have two year old Sony tuner / receiver. Often when I am listening to my stereo, speakers or a CD player only exit. If I give a blow small, usually brings the CD player or new to the sound returns to all speakers (I have 5 speakers). What can I do to fix this problem? I recently changed all the speaker cables because I thought that was the problem. Of course, that does not help, because it is a problem with the receiver. Well I am a DIRECTV customer with regular type receiver. I just bought a big screen TV flat, so I need to upgrade to high definition receiver. So my question is that what if I buy the HD DVR receiver-local or a person Directv line instead of itself, will the DVR work or need a service for that and what my current channels, which are loaded in proper HD quality with HDMI? If the DVR is not possible, so what if I just bought the HD-receiver will be my load of current channels? How does the access card? I have one, but if we introduce to a different receiver, will all my channels to be there? Please someone clarify ….
Call before you buy a Directv HD-DVR elsewhere. You team can qualify for the discount. BTW, a new HD dish is required to view HD programming and online retail normally does not provide the plate. A dish can be bought through DirecTV and can have it installed, but usually included in the update of the receiver. You need to have access to DVR and HD assets in the account in order to register and receive HD channels. If you buy a pre-owned receiving an access card is necessary (in charge of, I think Directv $ 20). The first stop should call Directv.

Most current HD receivers have a HDMI output, so it must be able to connect to your TV. As for image quality, it would be important to know what you are comparing the HD signal. For example, If a coaxial cable or composite (yellow video and red and white for audio), then you will see a big difference when viewing HD content. If compared with component video (red, blue and green only), it is unlikely you will see any improvement in image quality. When it comes to watching TV, IMO, most advantage of an HDMI or component cable can handle audio and video. If you were talking about 1080p and 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio, etc (Bluray players) just want to connect them with HDMI 1.3.
