Satellite equipment for television channels in Europe?
Ok could someone give a valuable insight and counsel, I am trying to receive and view (but no thanks porno) channels in Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Iceland and Estonia. Now I know that Poland is mainly on Hotbird 13E alignment and can be received with 60cm dish. But for me to receive all TV feeds from the countries mentioned above – which team would be best for that, I mean standard plate with quad LNB or a motorized dish? What would you recommend receiver (Technomate, Humax, etc) and receiver would be better if I was to get a Cyfra + / Polsat card for encrypted channels (ie pay channels) I am also located in Yorkshire for the size of plate is taken into account. A difficult question! You should have a motorized system to meet all your needs. The most difficult to get are: Estonia, others Sirius@4.8 this, and Icelandic, found only one @ 1 degree west. As for others, there are packages, and are not free (FTA) channels. You should consult an installer specialized to solve the complexity of all your needs. Some online information sites below.
