My cable-modem disconnects a lot.?
ok, so my cable modem is disconnected a lot lately, can occur every 30 minutes, or after a few hours, but here is the solution. first off, my cable line goes from about 20 feet across the room, around corners, a 2-way splitter, then line 1 to line television to cable modem box. Now the TV works perfect, without loss of signal reception clear, even when the modem is disconnected, the TV works fine. Here is how to fix the disconnection. I go to the outlet, disconnect the power cord, wait 10 seconds, the screw again. bingo, cable modem to connect. is a sign of this problem from the ISP? the output of the cable has problems? cable line has problems? What could be. One of their CATV Cable, black, silver-connectors. the divisor is a frequency divider 7 -7. and I checked the signal itself of the modems IP scanner and said that his perfect signal. The box is a ARRIS modem. I called my ISP, you can go out and check … in two weeks … I do not want to wait that long, so if any1 know has id appreciate.
Well, let me help with my personal experience with cable television and the Internet is through a cable. First, if you have a router attachment that you have not mentioned, set the router of a client lease time to 10000. Secondly, my cable TV in my house has an amplifier signal in the system that appears to increase television signals watchable. However, the modem must be plugged into service by the signal booster. Now, in my house, the master connector board is in my attic, and this forum is where you select the outlets to receive the pulse signal. hi, can someone share ideas if the pioneer vsx-5000 can be hook up with cable tv. thanks?
thanks, i did connect the tv cable to the the receiver catv input. but i hear or see anything. what selection do i need to select?
Just connect the “audio out” plugs (should be a red and a white) from your cable box to the receiver. Whatever audio input you use on the receiver (cd, tv, ect..) is what you’ll switch it to when you want to hear the tv sound. I don’t really see a need to run the video through your receiver, so just keep that hooked up straight to your TV from your cable box.

What is the difference between digital and regular cable?
I thought get cable TV when the switch comes to that I have to buy a box converter, but now I hear that if you do not see digital cable has yet to get the converter box.does nobody knows the difference or whether this is still true?
The digital switch next February, has nothing to do with the cable. Next February, the free to air stations through you would get with an antenna to turn off their analog signals. They have had digital signals in the air since 2002. Cable companies are private companies. They can do pretty much they want. If your specific cable company is making a change, it is because they decided they did not because of any legislation. Check with the company cable service on analog TVs. It is likely that still have analog TV packages and if you want digital cable, can provide a cable box the analog output.

What cable / dish channels High Do You Want?

depends on what u like to watch. If you like science channels and all that then you will to add them as NGC, Animal Planet, and history. Time Warner Cable and has a little less than satillite but most of them are unlocked)

Is there a free software that lets you watch cable and satellite TV on your PC?
Of a quality comparable to what you get from Direct TV. Those are all pretty neat, but it offers much more than my current cable. I was referring to access via satellite to receive access normally pay-per-view, etc.
The quality is not all that good, and changing channels takes a while for surfing is out of the question, but TVUPlayer is the most widely used application for it. http://www.tvunetworks.com/

What channel is MyNetworkTV in the dish cable?
I dish cable, and my channel are very different from a half cord. There is a series I want to see on MyNetworkTV, but do not know where the channel. I've been looking around it, but I can not seem to find it.
