Help! Need help ASAP fixing a bad hair bleaching job!?

Okay I’ve been wanting to dye my hair for a while so I went to Sally’s and bought this permanente mix (its like toner to lighten hair cause I have jet black hair) So anyway I put it on my hair but somehow my hair came out carrot top orange! Does anyone have any advice on how I could fix this ASAP without breaking my pockets? Thanks I would really appreciate it!

Most hair will bleach in the following stages: Black, brown, red, orange, yellow blonde, light blonde, white. (Yellow tones can be counteracted by using the relevant Special Effects or Manic Panic Toner).
Black hair is particularly hard to bleach so I would rest it for a while then try another bleaching – using a lower volume bleach if possible (or you can dilute bleach to make a soapcap which is less harmful than regular bleaching). Black hair often needs two bleachings to get to a light base colour unfortunately but only you will know if your hair can stand another bleaching (or soapcap) or not – if it feels dry and brittle leave it alone but if you think it can handle another bleaching go for it after a few days and check regularly – best to remove bleach when hair is at light orange/yellow stage as most colours will go on fine over this or you could use a toner to neutralise yellow tones left by bleaching.
For more info on bleaching, colouring, soapcaps etc you can check on my site…

Are there disadvantages to purchase remanufactured toner cartridges?

I have a color laser multifunction Brother for my business that I love, toner is expensive but boy! I met with re-manufactured versions that are half the price of new cartridges and see the benefit to the environment and my pocket … but I sacrificing quality? And the machine is damaged in some way?

Many people buy and use remanufactured lot and most have few or no problems. The problems re-manufactured cartridges can cause, but not always, depending on the company, are: 1 – Image quality – to – consistency of color can vary – b – or the appearance of the light faded – C – images are not as clean and crisp 2 – toner cartridges can leak into the printer 3 – hand of work or inferior materials can cause premature failure of the cartridges, squeaks, poor print quality, etc. and the quality will not last for 4 – toner may deteriorate rollers heat faster and leave more dust inside the printer If impressions are critical for quality, reliability and resistance then I suggest you go with brand manufacturers, but if you're wanting to reduce their printing costs and non-critical then try a set and see how remanufactured work for you. It is only half of what they normally wear out and may be worthwhile in the long term. Best of luck.

Are there disadvantages to purchasing re-manufactured toner cartridges?

I have a Brother color laser multifunction printer for my business that I love, but boy is toner expensive! I came across re-manufactured versions that are half the price as new cartridges, and see the benefit for the environment and for my pocket… but will I be sacrificing quality? And will the machine be damaged in any way?

Many people buy and use re-manufactured cartridges a lot and most have few, if any, problems. The problems that re-manufactured cartridges can cause, but not always, depending on the company, are:

1 – image quality:
– a – color consistency may vary
– b – light or faded appearance
– c – images are not as clean and crisp
2 – cartridges can leak toner into printer
3 – poor quality workmanship or materials may cause premature failure of cartridge, squeaks, poor print quality, etc. and not last as long
4 – quality of toner may deteriorate fuser rollers more quickly and leave more dust inside printer

If your prints are critical for quality, reliability and endurance then I’d suggest going with the manufacturers brand, but if you’re wanting to lower your costs and prints aren’t that critical then try a set and see how the re-manufactured cartridges work for you. It’s only half of what you’d normally spend and could be worth it in the long run.

Best of luck.
