How can you establish a network connection between XP and Vista using a direct cable?
Me and a friend of mine has tried things on Vista to connect both of our laptops. The easy part was the creation of a network connection for Windows XP. When it came to creating a connection network in Vista, we could not think of a way how. We could not find an option where you can connect to a home network or small office use a LAN cable. Can I connect a laptop with XP and one with Vista without using a router?
This is possible if both computers are shared and use a crossover cable. It was not an option to connect to a network through a router?
